Change Management Foundations

Course Outline

If you are responsible for or involved in a change programme, these courses will provide you with underpinning knowledge of the behavioral issues associated with managing change in organisation life, and of many key models and tools used by practitioners to address these issues effectively.

The APMG syllabus is designed as 4 x 1-day modules, with one 68-question multiple-choice examination at the end of the four modules:

Module 1: IC - Individual Change

Module 2: TC - Team Change

Module 3: OC - Organisational Change

Module 4: CL - Change Leadership

Our public courses offer the four modules as two 2-day course programmes within the same week, with “Change 1” (Monday-Tuesday) covering the Individual Change and Team Change modules, and “Change 2” (Wednesday-Thursday) covering Organisational Change and Change Leadership. Although it is possible to take the courses independently, our recommendation is that they are taken in sequence. The APMG examination covering all four modules is offered as an option at the end of the Thursday programme.

This course has been accredited by the APMG who are the examining body for Change Management and responsible for all aspects of the provision of exams including setting, marking, feedback and appeals. Scoll Methods, as an accredited training organisation, acts as their agent in providing administrative facilities.

All our Change Management training is run in partnership with Richard Smith Associates, a consultancy offering over 25 years’ experience in this field, and who are therefore able to tailor training to meet the varied specific needs of individual clients. They are also able to provide in-depth consultancy support where required. Please contact us to discuss this.
