If you are responsible for or involved in a change programme, and already hold the APMG certificate “Change Management Principles”, this course will provide you with
BOTH an opportunity to revise what you learned in achieving that certificate
AND the know-how to apply this appropriately in practice.
This special upgrade course is based on the second edition of 'Making Sense of Change Management' PLUS a special “Practitioner Handbook” produced under licence from APMG. It is designed to give you clear, practical approaches to help you address and support change in your own organisation.
When you complete this programme successfully – designed to fit the new and revised APMG Change Management Practitioner syllabus – you will be able to show
ø a good basic understanding of the theories and practices of effective Change Management, and
ø the know-how to apply and tailor these principles to real organisation situations
The Scoll Methods public courses set all this in the context of real experiences of organisation changes. The experience of both participants and tutor will be used throughout to address the many complex and challenging issues raised by change. We aim to go beyond the syllabus to help participants develop a practical sensitivity to the issues involved, equipping them with fresh ideas and approaches to use in their day-to-day work.
Our public Practitioner Upgrade courses are designed to run over three days and offer the Practitioner examination on the final day. The accrediting organisation APMG are the examining body for Change Management and responsible for all aspects of the provision of exams including setting, marking, feedback and appeals. Scoll Methods, as an accredited training organisation (ATO), acts as their agent in providing administrative facilities.
All our Change Management training is run in partnership with Richard Smith Associates, a consultancy offering over 25 years’ experience in this field who are therefore able to tailor training to meet the varied and specific needs of individual clients. They are also able to provide in-depth consultancy support where required. Please contact us to discuss this.
