Pre-Requisites
It is assumed that delegates will have attended PRINCE2® training up to Practitioner level.
You must have passed the PRINCE2® Foundation exam in order to sit the PRINCE2® Practitioner exam.
Pre-Course Preparation
We strongly recommend that you practice answering as many sample examination questions as possible by way of preparation for the exam. If you need extra help, we offer a ‘practice exam question’ service. This will develop your exam technique and will give you an insight into what the examiners are looking for in your answers.
We will send you practice exam scenarios with questions for you to attempt in your own time (or if you can bear it – in exam conditions!).You submit your answers to us for marking, and we would provide you with detailed feedback via email and/or telephone conversations.
This will improve your exam technique and give you a better feel of what examiners are looking for in your answers.
Once you are feeling more confident, you can then arrange to sit the Practitioner Re-Registration exam.
Note: Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks between the date you submit your answers to us and the date you wish to sit the exam, to ensure there is adequate time for us to mark your paper and provide feedback to you that you can use for further preparation.
Price
The cost for feedback on one paper (i.e. 3 questions) is £75 plus VAT
(Please note that there is a £10 cancellation fee for this service)
Examination Details
The Practitioner exam is a 2½ hour Objective Test with nine equally weighted questions on a given project scenario. You must get 55% overall in order to pass. You are expected to show your ability to apply the PRINCE2® method to this scenario. The types of question that you will complete include multiple choice, confirming if statements made about the scenario are correct or not, placing proposed options into the sequence suggested by the PRINCE2® method, and stating whether assertions made about the scenario match with reasons provided to explain the assertion. The paper is taken after the training on Friday afternoon, and the papers are all returned to The APM Group for marking, which takes approximately 4 weeks. You will be advised of your result, by Scoll Methods, as soon as the information is available and Practitioner Certificates are raised for successful candidates.
(Exam fees (£170 VAT) are not applicable if you have previously attended one of our courses and booked but deferred the Practitioner exam)
